Each and every day, the educators in our schools―teachers, support staff, school administrators, and district leaders―along with their trusted product and service providers, take on the challenge of ensuring equity and access for every student, everywhere. The Excellence in Equity Awards program is designed to recognize and amplify those efforts.
This is our third year running the awards program and we’ve learned a lot along the way. Based on the nominees we’ve reviewed in prior years, we have decided to have two separate award programs for companies: Industry Impact Awards (open now) and Industry Innovation Awards (coming in spring 2025).
The Industry Impact Awards are most similar to what you’ve experienced with the program the past two years. They are designed to recognize the solutions with a proven track record and evidence that backs up their impact. But we’ve also received many nominations about innovative new solutions that may not have data yet, but have transformational potential — while it’s unfair to compare them directly against proven solutions, we feel these innovations should also have a chance to be highlighted. That will be the focus of the Industry Innovation Awards.
Another great thing is many companies will have relevant nominations for both programs, getting the opportunity to highlight both your innovation and your demonstrated impact.
If you are a leader, communications or marketing professional, and/or agency working with a company or nonprofit in PreK-20, this is a program for you. We have categories to recognize all of the following:
- PreK-12 and Higher Ed companies, products, and company leaders
- Nonprofit organizations, community partners, and nonprofit leaders
- Authors, speakers, and consultants
- Books
There are 30 unique categories for the Industry Impact Awards. Just a handful of them include:
- Company of the Year and Product of the Year (PreK-12 and Higher Ed)
- Local Impact and National/International Impact
- AI Impact
- Career Readiness and College Readiness Solutions
- Student and Educator Health and Wellness Solutions
- STEM Solution
