Complimentary Educational Resources

Read Naturally

With widespread school closures, I know you are getting lots of questions from teachers about educational resources they can use with students virtually. Read Naturally wants to help teachers out by offering two months of free access to Read Live. Read Live is well-suited to providing an effective reading intervention in classroom, blended learning, and distance learning models. It can be used anywhere students have internet access and an appropriate device. Here are a few resources to get teachers and parents set-up. If a school does not already have an Read Live account they will need to register for a free trial.

Free Trial – Please note all trials are 60 days.

Read Live Distance Learning Model Tool Kit – Offers in instructions for getting Read Live set-up, communicating with parents, screen sharing tools and more.

Read Naturally is also offering the iPad app Splat-O-Nym as a free download from the Apple App Store through April 30th. Splat-O-Nym makes learning words fun. Students independently play a vocabulary word game that includes a synonym activity with over 7,000 questions, antonym activity with 1,000 questions, and 600 meaning-from-context questions. A Lightning Round provides an exciting review.

It is our hope that the above resources will help teachers provide productive distance-learning through the remainder of this global crisis. Thank you for all the support your organization is providing in this time of need. If you have questions, please reach out to me via e-mail.

Sincerely,

Maggie Matz
