COVID-19 relief funds, invested in the right classroom furniture, will instantly allow schools to easily reconfigure spaces for current health concerns – while supporting the mental and physical well-being of students. Students deserve equitable opportunity – so every single student has an opportunity to sit, stand, or learn in any way they need to.
Built around the student’s learning experience, VS America’s ergonomic, agile, and mobile furniture empowers students to engage their senses while learning, creating heightened focus, stronger motivation, and a sense of well-being.
Learn how schools can use their COVID-19 relief funds to purchase agile furniture for their students in this discussion with VS America and Steve Barr, Chief Financial and Operations Officer at Oak Park School District, on Wednesday, April 14 from 2–3 p.m. Eastern Time.
Steve Barr has dedicated 26 years of his career advocating for K-12 education. After working six years in public accounting after graduating from Michigan State University, Steve worked in the Utica Community Schools, Troy School District, Macomb Intermediate School District, Novi Community School District and also the City of Farmington Hills prior to his current assignment in Oak Park Schools. In addition to being a leader in school finance, he feels strongly about the positive impact that agile furniture has on teaching and learning. He led the implementation of flexible furniture in all classrooms in the Novi Community School District beginning in 2015.
