MEASURING ED TECH /DIGITAL EFFECTIVENESS

It is so imporTant to open the world digitally  to students in small rural school districts. Ed Tech gives us the opportunity to do just that. Today we visit  Sahuarita  Unified School District  #30 in Arizona which  is located between Tucson and Nogales , about 40 miles from the Mexico US border and they  recently switched to a digitally based science  pedagogy  using Discovery’s Science Techbook and then they studied the difference in effectiveness and learning between tech book learning  and textbook learning. Assistant Superintendent Brett Bonner shares the results.

The American Consortium for Equity in Education, publisher of the "Equity & Access" journal, celebrates and connects the educators, associations, community partners and industry leaders who are working to solve problems and create a more equitable environment for historically underserved pre K-12 students throughout the United States.
